My sweet/wonderful/gentle/loving/amazing father in-law died of cancer. It happened so quickly we're all still very stunned and sorting out our feelings about it. The funeral was BEAUTIFUL... hundreds and hundreds of people came to say how much they loved him.

My father died after 52 days in intensive care at Miami Valley Hospital.

Life has a been blur since it happened and I'm just taking it day by day, trying to live with immense grief. It has been difficult... people have been kind, however(at least the majority of people, mostly friends) and I have my wonderful David whom I married.... that happened also. I forgot to mention that, too. Life has changed SO much in the past month. Loss and gain. Memories flooding my mind. New memories made.

I lost my financial aid because I dropped a class to deal with all this... hopefully that isn't permanent. I'm appealing it.
